Networking and Relationship Building - an Interactive Workshop

What is a network and what is the definition of a relationship in the context of a client and a supplier or partner?

Contrary to some opinions, a network is not a list of people you've shaken hands with and relationship building is not getting names in a diary of people that you think can do you or your company a favour.

Have you ever been at a conference and strike up a conversation with someone? They seem distracted and looking around, then make an excuse and leave? Chances are they're trying the 'speed dating' technique of networking. Think to yourself though, how you feel. Are they someone you'd want to meet again (having to meet them again is different) - probably not.

This workshop looks at different types of people and how to engage at different levels as well as  opportunities to network and how to do it in a way that others don't take exception.  

The session is a one day workshop for up to 15 people with some light preparatory work for delegates to complete.
