Review... It's not enough to think you are a winner, ensure
the people that make the decisions believe you are a winner. |
|
The
primary function of Document Review is to provide depth
of experience from both sides of the
'influencing
document'
process. Working with Red Review will not guarantee success,
but it will bring success one step closer.
|
 |
|
|
Pro-actively,
Red Review comes in to the closing stages of
strategic document preparation
and provides an independent ‘customer eye’ view of
the document that everyone else is so close to. In
this way mistakes can be rectified quickly and
efficiently and just as importantly, the power of
the message can be commented on and suggestions
made. |
|
The
areas we can provide most support, in terms of best use
of time available and suggested changes,
are the executive summary and any business text. In
other more specialised areas, we provide a
'customer eye' service that checks whether the question
has been addressed
within the answer - very often a great deal of
specialised text can go into an answer without
addressing the question - this can be extremely
frustrating for customers. |

This service would
normally take place over 1 to 2 days. We'd expect to provide
the resource either remotely utilising conference facilities
or on site (where necessary travel and accommodation expenses
would be agreed). If on site we'd need a quiet room that would
allow up to three people to spread documentation out as
necessary. Also, a flip chart or white board facility as well
as some one on hand to provide printouts etc. would be
beneficial. |
|
Information we would require to a greater or lesser
degree, depending on the document in question, will
include who the intended audience are and what are
their main drivers as well as recognised competition
(either in the form of internal barriers or other
suppliers). |
|
Where
further training is mutually thought to be
beneficial, we can advise on where to source it. |
|
Pro-active reviews are an excellent discipline but
for organisations that want to build conformity into
their process,
re-active
reviews and associated learning assessments are
an invaluable source of information |
